The region is characterized by a high unemployment rate, and sectors with great potential, i.e. agriculture, tourism, craftsmanship, are not sufficiently valued.

The CEFA action aims at creating employment opportunities for the most excluded people, through alternative, responsible and supportive tourism. The project aims at strengthening endogenous economic practices, increasing the capacity of the population and improving the profitability of community tourism and agricultural and handicraft production.

To achieve these objectives, the project provides support for organizing, structuring and integrating the activities, creating a territorial development system.
